Yes, it’s real, and no you don’t need to order some ridiculously expensive ‘zero calorie’ ingredient online or from the US.

This tastes exactly like the Frappucino’s in Starbucks, and you can ask for them to make it this way for you, however it will cost you £3 when this will cost you £3 for about 30.

The downside, is that it will separate, and this does happen in normal frappe’s, but the milk illudes us to think otherwise. The good news, is that it doesn’t affect the taste, and this in fact may even be less than 24 calories, I just wanted the alliteration for my heading, but it will all come down to how much syrup you use.

Ingredients (serves 1):
1 cup of ice
50ml cold water
1 shot (approx 25ml) flavoured coffee syrup
1 shot made up coffee (instant is fine)

1. Put all ingredients in a blender
2. Blend and serve!

….and that’s really all there is to it! With this recipe it’s ok to not actually measure things out properly, I just filled up my coffee mug with ice, then topped it up with water, coffee and syrup before transferring it to the blender.
